Hi All,

Still sleep yet or you already on your way for long weekend holiday? Anyway, if you just stay at home and plan to watch Game of Thrones or The Real housewives of Atlanta marathon (I don’t judge), why don’t you add little activity to make your holiday more usefull? Clean up your grooming products?

I’m Gemini. So if you like me, then you know we all bit lazy (in very creative way). Our things all over the place and we need one special time (like today) to clean up our mess and to make ourselves feel better.

Even most man don’t have many grooming (beauty) products like woman do, but still if you look closely, you have many things in your bathroom or drawer, things that you didn’t know you have or even use. The shampoo that’s not working to clean your dandruff, the sample face cream that you have not use since last year, or the face cleanser that gives you acne and more blackheads? You see? You think you and I don’t have a lot in common, but think again.

So what to do with those products? Well, if you can’t use it anymore, then threw away, I hear you scream. Well, here’s another idea of how to maximize those products before you simply treat it as trash. Use it. Not on your hair or your face, but here’s idea of what to do:

• Shampoo: Use it to as detergent to wash your underwear or socks.
• Face cleanser: Use it as scrubs to clean your dirty feet.
• Face cream: use it as body lotion.

Just make sure the expire date is still far away. After you do that, trust me as Gemini, you will feel better about yourself and your long weekend holiday.

Hi All,

This would be my biggest fashion purchase this year so far. A Coach Bleecker Backpack in leather. I bought it on my last day while holiday in Seoul.

I knew I had to have this back pack for many different reason, but if you must know, I had this particular back pack picture on my iPad for more than 3 years. So when I saw it on Lotte Shopping Mall, it was a dream come true for me. But it came with not so cheap price (at least for me). With $698 price tag, I have to eat instant noodle and missed the room rental for view months, but it’s worth it.

Just look at the product itself. The shape, the material, and the color are just so classic. You can totally wear it forever and even pass down to your family. This is the kind of product that you will only wish to have one for the rest of your life, just like my Timex watch, because you know you will satisfy for a long time.

Now I just need to put my initial name on the tag.

Not only it’s perfect hair cut for busy people for, but for children as well.

The Hairstylist is profesional and will always give you advice about the right hair cut for you.

Rolling Clothes Racks

I think it’s a common sense that you should able to learn to be better from anywhere. For me, closet organizing skill is something that every man (count me in) still struggling with. But just like Vogue for woman, thank God there’s GQ for men as well. It’s like style reference for us to improve our fashion game, including our skill to organize the closet.

So I read this GQ article on how to improve our style resolution and it hit me. I can use one trick from the article. The rolling clothes racks. It’s simple yet effective trick for my situation. I live in one tiny room in Jakarta and I don’t have proper closet, so with this tool, I can really show my shirts and jackets just like what I see on the store. And guess what, I also can put my shoes down below the racks.

If you live in Indonesia or around Jakarta’s area, you can get this single rolling clothing racks (different brand, but more or less the same) at Carrefour for less than $15. How about that? So, thank you GQ.

If you reading this, then you might have to find me on field, whether it’s on corn field or tomatoes field, mind my own business. But let me tell you this, there’s nothing better way to protect your face but sunscreen lotion while working directly under the sun. Because if you are single and getting old, doesn’t matter whether you are girl or boy, you need to keep it together.

Can we talk real here for a sec? How often you see fashion people really relatable to us, normal people? Not often. So it’s very refreshing to see that we can actually learn style trick from fashion people, like one of my favourite, Emmanuelle Alt- French Vogue  Fashion Editor.

And here’s the trick: If you find something that fit your figure, get in every color. How smart is that? Just look at Emmanuelle. She founds that the chambray shirt fit for her figure (which is so true) and her style, so she has the same shirt in every basic color. See, we can always learn something from someone, whether it’s from boy or girl.

When it comes to grooming products, including perfume, here’s my rule: do not buy a new one until you spray the last drop of your old one. I mean, I still can’t understand why people have so many perfumes at the same time? Don’t you have to pay for those each bottle? Anyway, back to my post. I knew since last year (yes people, since last year) that when my D&G light blue finished, then Dior Homme should be my new perfume. It’s a cologne actually and let me tell you, I love how it smells. Very fresh with hint of lemon (if my noise is right) and has its own heavy smell of  musk (typical for cologne), you know what I mean? The first time you spray, you will have a bit heavy of the cologne, but after while, you will have subtle smell around your body- in very good way.

Tips on how to wear cologne: always spray it after take a bath and it only will last for maximum 4 hours.

We always hear the girls steal something from us, boys. Have you ever heard about the term like ‘boyfriend’s shirt?’ or ‘Boyfriend jeans?” Well, now it’s time for us to pay visit to their department.

Listen to me first before you scroll out this post like you always do. Actually, there’s always something that we can learn or in this case, buy from girl’s section. It’s not what you think silly. I’m not talking about you buy the dress or jeans (although some boys do that), but it’s more simple than you think. I’m talking about the accesories. We, boy can always have something from girl section like a nice poncho. You ever thought about it? I mean, poncho is unisex. Once you put it on and have a bit confident, you can walk around the city in style.

Since the girls fashion always competitive market, no wonder all the brands trying to give something new, fresher, and better than previous collection. Girl can wear it, boy can rock it too. And if you look closer, the material is better and you can wear it with basicly you have in your closet. Other than this poncho, you also can find:

• Jewelry, the light one I mean.
• Scarf, obviously.
• Other stuff, just be creative.

So next time when you go store, spare your time to visit the girls section.
